Eclipse: Twilight Saga

Okay, so your probably sick to death of people going on and on about the film by now and hot gorgeous Taylor and Robert look (which they do) but thats not the reason Im posting about it.
Oh no. Im here to comment on the premiere outfits for the very dull and boring (in my opinion) Kirsten Stewart, whos fashion sense has always intrigued me..

As you can see from the four photos above, her style from one premiere venue to the next vary so much. From short pink cocktail dresses, to floor length navy blue ball gowns, her style changes almost gives me whiplash. Now, dont get me wrong, some of them suit her amazingly, like the top image, although that may also have something to do with her very good looking boyfriend smiling at her instead of her dress, but nonetheless, the colours suit her and so does the figure hugging style.
However, the pink dress at the bottom, not such a hit in my opinion. She tries to give the impression of a rock girl, rebellious young women who doesnt care that she gets to kiss two of the most talked about guys on a regular basis in a film that the whole world knows about, yet why does she choose the girly pink colour? Maybe to suggest a feminine side?
Hmmmm. Im not too sure..

Escada Campaign Autumn

I adore the setting of this shoot. Maybe I am slightly bias in that I love theatre, the effects, the costume and being a performer myself, I appreciate each of these soooo much. However, I think that the traditional red velvet seats which are almost iconic for theatres, combined with the iconic symbol of women and femaninity of the 'Little Black Dress', kinda adds a contemporary feel to the photo, yet the style of it and the rich and almost heavy looking fabric reminds us of the time era in which the photos are meant to be set.
The aim of the shoot was to show off Escadas new fall collection of day and evening wear, and by using Milla Jovoich as their model, who is basically just stunning, its not wonder that these clothes are portrayed amazingly.
I absouetly love the shot with the chairs. The rebellious symbol of being dramatic, not only fits the setting but also contradicts some of the more sophisicated and elegant garments within the collection.

A stunning photoshoot, with amazing clothes for a first class brand. Perfect.
